As part of the 7th Cooperation Program between the Haitian Government and the United Nations Agency for Sexual and Reproductive Health (UNFPA), a graduation ceremony was held this week for 60 young people who completed a two-month inclusive vocational training program. This training, provided at the New Boschoise Technology Vocational School, focused on motorcycle repair and cell phone troubleshooting, and included job placement support.

Among the 60 graduates were a significant number of girls and women, including out-of-school youth, single mothers, women who have experienced violence, including rape, as well as people with disabilities and people who are hearing impaired.

In his address, Pierre Paul, Secretary of State for Population and Human Development, emphasized that this initiative aims to make population, human development, and social inclusion national priorities.
