The Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) has officially announced the details of the second round of CONCACAF Women's World Cup qualifying for the 9th edition of the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027, scheduled to take place in Brazil.

Haiti, who have already secured their qualification (https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-47321-2027-world-cup-haiti-qualifies-for-the-final-round-video.html), will face Mexico, the qualified team, in the quarterfinals in Texas. If they win, they will secure their place in the final phase of the 9th edition of the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup in Brazil.

For this second phase, eight teams are competing: the United States, Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Jamaica, Panama, and Haiti.

Quarter-final matches :

• United States vs. El Salvador

• Canada vs. Panama

• Mexico vs. Haiti

• Jamaica vs. Costa Rica

Following these matches, the four winners will qualify directly for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup and advance to the semi-finals.

The four teams eliminated in the quarter-finals will play in the playoffs. The two winners of these matches will secure a place in the intercontinental playoffs for the 2027 Women's World Cup.

Furthermore, the two runners-up and the winner of the third-place match will qualify for the 2028 Women's Olympic football tournament. If the United States reaches the semifinals, all semifinalist teams will automatically qualify for this tournament.
