On Monday, September 7, 2026, as part of operations to restore security in the commune of Gressier, law enforcement continued to advance into several areas of the municipality. Police officers raided several hideouts used by armed criminals while continuing to dismantle roadblocks set up by the gangs.

During these operations, law enforcement agents successfully entered the home of the leader of the "Sans Frontières" gang and secured the premises. They proceeded to destroy other hideouts and positions held by this armed group, aiming to degrade their capabilities and regain control of the area.

Furthermore, law enforcement regained control of several key locations, including Apollon Street, the Parc Saint-Jean football field in Gressier, the Gressier police station, and the Bethel Evangelical Church of Gressier.

On National Road 2, police officers dismantled roadblocks that had been erected by criminals to obstruct public traffic.

Several terrorists were fatally wounded, while others fled the scene.

Law enforcement will continue operations in Gressier to dismantle armed gang strongholds, regain control of the area, and establish the conditions necessary to restore security in the commune.
