Condolences of Mexico
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico expresses its condolences for the death of Haitian nationals in a road accident, "The Mexican government regrets the loss of lives and injuries caused by traffic accident occurred last Saturday. The people and government of Mexico show solidarity with the brotherly country in these times and sent its deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims."

Solar street lights for 50 families
Ten solar street lights were recently installed by the Office of the Secretary of State of Disabled Persons in a new village to Cabaret which has hosted a group of 50 families from a refugee camp of Delmas. This initiative aims to improve living conditions in the village in order to encourage other families to move into this new community.

New Charge d'Affaires ai in Geneva
The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Haiti to the United Nations Office at Geneva, Switzerland, announces that the mission of Jean-Claude Pierre as Minister-Counsellor, Chargé d'Affaires ai of Haiti ended.Pending the appointment of a new Permanent Representative, Mr. Jean Bony Alexandre, Minister-Counselor, has been appointed Charge d'Affaires ai by the Chancellor Laurent Lamothe. Mr Alexander will ensure the management of the Haitian Diplomatic Mission.

Words of sympathy of Daniel Supplice
Daniel Supplice, the Minister of Haitians Living Abroad has learned with great sadness the news of the terrible traffic accident occurred, this Saturday, April 7, on the National Road #2 at the height of Morne Tapion, near the town of Petit-Goâve where a truck carrying merchants and goods overturned, causing 26 casualties and about thirty wounded. The Minister presents its sympathies to the relatives of victims.
