New Director General to the Ministry of Tourism

Tuesday, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, Minister of Tourism, has installed a new Director General within the Ministry, it is Josette Darguste. The outgoing Director General is appointed Ambassador of Haiti in Germany. He promises to continue to promote tourism even if he is no longer to the Ministry.

"The Consulate General of Haiti in Miami informs the Haitian community, that under the publication of the amended Constitution of 1987, any Haitian citizen who acquired foreign citizenship, may now apply to obtain a Haitian passport. This decision was taken on the base of provisions of the Haitian Constitution of 1987, as amended May 9, 2011 and published in the number 58 of the Official Gazette "Le Moniteur", Friday, May 13, 2011.
