Tuesday, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism and other Ministers left Port-au-Prince to Ecuador on a mission with the President of the Republic. Before her departure she met a delegation of six investors of Atlanta, who presented her a project of resort and villas on Lake Azuei. Last Wednesday the Minister opened a series of Debate-Conference days, organized by the Hotel School on Tourism and Hotels, to the graduating class.

Measures to prevent accidents
In order to reduce the number of road accidents, the traffic department announced the adoption of numerous measures: checkpoints to monitor the overloading of trucks; the obligation makes to the drivers to put their seat belts; the availability of an ambulance and a tow truck to bring relief to drivers; the requirement for truck drivers to drive with a Type B license. Moreover, an increased police presence will be provided on Route Nationale #1, from the Croix des missions to Saint Marc, and for the National #2, from Gressier to the town of Les Cayes.

Carlos Hercules wants clarification
Carlos Hercules, barrister of the Bar of Port-au-Prince estimated that "The Superior Council of Judicial Power (CSPJ) does not have the power of appointment, but the power of recommendation, there is an inaccuracy that should be corrected in the future in a second amendment that the President should do at the end of this legislature. We will correct... it's on the recommendation of CSPJ that President will appoint, I said 'recommendation', thus, if the CSPJ does not recommend the Executive does not name, I think we need this precision. Michel Brunache, new Secretary General to the Primature
The former justice minister, Michel Brunache was installed Wednesday as Secretary General of the Primature to replace Me Enex Jean-Charles. Previously Michel Brunache, was political adviser to Prime Minister Lamothe, having served as Minister of Justice and Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
