Funeral of Haitian painter Préfète Duffaut

This Saturday, October 13, 2012, the funeral of the great Haitian painter Préfète Duffaut, who died last Saturday at the age of 89, will be sung in the Church of Saint Louis Roi de France, Turgeau. The exposure of the body is scheduled from 8:00 am to the Ange Bleu, Turgeau.

Exhibition "Chimen Libète"

Launched on 20 September 2012, the exhibition "Chimen Libèté" is a staging performed using engravings, paintings, documents and artifacts authentic and objects witnessed of the slavery ends on 20 October 2012. Conference "Haiti and Latin America"

Friday October 12 at the French Institute [99, avenue Bois Verna Lamartinière] will be held a conference "Haiti and Latin America" the speaker Mr. Champchesnel worked in Haiti on rural development with a local organization. Then he worked on the issue of development of independent media in Afghanistan in particular. In 2011 he was appointed Director of the campus Euro-Latino-Américain of Sciences Po Paris, based in Poitiers.
