New multi-sports field

Friday, Jean Roosevelt René, the Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action, launched the construction of a multi-sports field in Côtes de Fer (South Department). This field will have a podium for cultural activities, changing rooms and stands that can accommodate about 600 people.

Carnival of Jacmel 45 million Gourdes

The Organizing Committee has indicated that the budget necessary to achieve the Carnival of Jacmel, is estimated at 45,877,500 Gourdes. Big defeat of Grenadiers against Chile 3-0

Saturday, the Grenadiers faced in friendly match at the Municipal Stadium "Alcaldesa Ester Roa" of Concepción to Santiago, the Chilean national team. While, in the five previous encounters Haiti [38th FIFA World Ranking] and Chile [30th in the FIFA rankings] were at equality, the Grenadiers failed Saturday, to be at the height undergoing powerless, a painful defeat 3-0, before more than 10,000 spectators. The goals were scored by Chileans : Carlos Munôz (48'), José Pedro Fuenzalida (57') and Patricio Rubio (76').
