Haitian Culture presents at CARICOM
Monday, Josette Darguste, the Minister of Culture attended the 24th Summit of CARICOM. It should be remembered that in the sidelines of the summit, a craft fair at the Caribe Convention Center [16, 17, 18 February 19] highlighting the imagination, creativity and vitality of Haitian culture is organized through the Support program to strengthen the culture and art for economic and social development (ARCADE) of the Ministry of Culture.

The EDH beautiful work at National Carnival
For the National Carnival, in less than a month, the Electricity of Haiti installed 300 street lights and 100 projectors across the city so that the festival-goers can walk safely ; constructed 2km circuit to power stands at the edge of the sea ; heightened 2.5 km of circuits along the Rue A, to accommodate the height of the musical floats and installed an emergency generator of 1.3 MW at the central Marti to respond to an increase of the peak demand.

Working meeting with ISPAN
Monday, Josette Darguste, Minister of Culture, Monique Rocourt, the new Director General of the Institute for the Protection of National Heritage (ISPAN) and former Director General Henry Robert Jolibois had a working session on the state of ISPAN, the work and actions done in the context of the protection of built heritage. Following this meeting, the Minister Darguste made ​​recommendations to the new Director, while promising its support in all his work.
