Trade Fair in Lascahobas

The Civil Society Initiative (ISC), the Secretariat of the Interministerial Committee for Territorial Development (CIAT), the Haitian Council of Non-State Actors (CONHANE) and the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Professions of the Centre (CCIPC), organizes the Trade Fair in Lascahobas on 23 and March 24. This activity is carried out in collaboration with the Town Hall in order to show the economic potential of the municipality of Lascahobas and of Department of Centre, to attract investment and promote opportunities presented by the study "The Loop Central Artibonite" (La Boucle Centre-Artibonite) conducted by CIAT.

Filming of a travel documentary on the north of Haiti

Last week, the Ministry of Tourism has received a Spanish production company came to make a film on tourism potentials of northern Haiti. Arrival in the North, the firm has participated in a voodoo ceremony organized especially for the shoot. After a filming at the National Historical Park (Sans Souci Palace and the Citadelle Henry), the team of filmmaker went to Labadee for a few sequences, before completing its filming in the Historic Downtown of Cap-Haitien.

Composition of the Taiwanese delegation

The Taiwanese delegation led by Zeng Shui-fu, Chairman of the Great Eastern Bank of Florida, who arrived in Haiti March 19, 2013, is composed of 17 people representing 12 Taiwanese companies, among which : the manufacturer of sewing machines Siruba, Euroasia companies, Gran America Int'l Miami, JV Logic, Oriental Depot, Overseas Engineering & Construction, TMCell, US-1 America and San Isabel Corporation. https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-8137-haiti-economy-prospecting-visit-of-taiwanese-entrepreneurs.html

19th Ibero-American Council Assembly

A delegation composed of the Director General of the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Civic Action and of Coordinator of the Legal Unit of the Ministry, participated on 18 and 19 March 2013 in Cuzco, Peru, at the 19th Ibero-American Council Assembly. They will also represent Haiti at the 13th Assembly of the American Council of sport.
