Restarting of road works Cayes-Jérémie
Monday morning, the contract to restart the construction work of the road Cayes-Jeremie was signed between Jacques Rousseau, Minister of Public Works and the Dominican building firm Estrella. The cost of the works is 75 million U.S. dollars, the IDB and CIDA agreed to give a contribution of $45.5 million according to the Minister.

Sniffer dogs strengthen port security
As part of the strengtheningof the security of the Port of Port-au-Prince, the Security Directorate in coordination with the Brigadeof Fight against Traffic in Narcotic Drugs (BLTS) began search operations and inspections with the help of sniffer dogs.

Expenditure Report for the period of emergency
Following the last ultimatum of eight days of the Lower House to the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe to come and explain the use of funds during the period of emergency, Ralph Théano, the Minister for Relations with Parliament, promises to deliver the report first in the Senate before sending it together with the PSP, to the Lower House, then share it with Civil Society.
