Evaluation results of national testing laboratories

Tuesday, June 11, as part of the World Day of accreditation, the Haitian Bureau of Standards (BHN) of the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MCI), in partnership with the European Union and the United Nations UN Industrial Development Organization, will present the results of the capacity assessment of national testing laboratories and will explain the role of accreditation in trade facilitation. The presentation will take place with the participation of many Haitian and international experts.

Colloquium on «Taxation of Culture»

Monday 10 and Tuesday, June 11, the Ministry of Culture organizes a Colloquium on "Taxation of Culture" at the Hotel Montana. This Colloquium focuses on the problem of formalization of the cultural sector and the protection of cultural objects.

New British Embassy in Haiti...

According to the newspaper "Evening Sandard" British Chancellor Hugo Swire should visit Haiti next week to discuss with the authorities of the opening of an embassy in Haiti. The Chancellor said that the British Government also intended to encourage British companies on trade and investment opportunities in Haiti to help the country develop.

Participation of students with disabilities in the National Children's Day

On June 3 and 9, the BSEIPH ensured the participation of disabled students of the School Foyer d'Amour in the activities undertaken by the IBESR to commemorate National Children's Day.
