The army will be effective before the end of the presidential term
Friday, Jean Rodolphe Joazile, the Minister of Defence, announced that before the end of the term of President Martelly, the Haitian army will be effective. He explained that Haitians who are currently training in Ecuador, will be the first members of the armed forces.

Exams begin for the 9th fundamental year
This Tuesday, June 25, begins throughout Haiti, the official examinations for the 9th fundamental year. 210.096 candidates are expected to attend the examinations that will last 3 days.

After a meeting with Dominican President, Danilo Medina, the Dominican Chancellor Carlos Morales Troncoso told reporters at the National Palace [Santo Domingo] that talks are underway with Haiti to resolve the impasse on the export ban of poultry products in Haiti, describing this issue of "matter that must be handled with great caution".
