New Cartel at the head of the Town Hall of Port-au-Prince

Wednesday in Annex of the Town Hall of Port-au-Prince, Major David Bazile, Minister of Interior and Territorial Communities, has proceeded with the installation of a new Cartel at teh head of the City of Port-au-Prince, until the next elections. They are : Joseph Pierre Richard Duplan, Président, Jean Mary Descorbeth and Nathalie Lalane, second and third member respectively.

Monitoring of great project with the Tourism Advisory Council

Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism, made the report on the status of three major tourism investment projects(Île-à-Vache, Côte de Fer and the Destination Jacmel) undertaken by the Ministry of Tourism to the monthly meeting of the Advisory Council of Tourism (CCT) of August.

Signature of an agreement with the Port of Miami

This week, during the symposium on the modernization of the port sector, organized by the National Port Authority (APN) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-9158-haiti-economy-haiti-s-ports-drivers-of-growth-and-economic-development.html , Alix Célestin, the Director General of the APN signed with Juan Kuryla, Appointed director of the Port of Miami (Florida), a cooperation agreement under which the Port of Miami will accompany the APN in its reflections and preparation of feasibility studies for the development of the port sector and its modernization as well as equipment selection to restructure the ports in Haiti.

OMRH Seminar on "Interpersonal Communication"

Earlier this week, the Office of Human Resources Management (OMRH) launched a training seminar of 3 days, for executives of government around the theme "Interpersonal Communication". The objective of this seminar was to strengthen the capacity of government officials by offering them tools to better communicate with the public.
