Signature of an agreement with Benin

On Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has proceeded to the signature of an agreement with the representatives of Benin for the creation of a Songhai center in Haiti. The Songhai Centre is intended for training, production research and development in sustainable agriculture "We will benefit from the Benin experience in the fight against food insecurity with the creation of this center," declared Chancellor Pierre Richard Casimir.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, together with the Unit for Housing Construction and Public Buildings (UCLBP), announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding on bilateral cooperation between the Haitian and Chilean government on the development of the housing sector in Haiti. This protocol will be signed Tuesday, September 3, 2013, by the Chancellor Pierre-Richard Casimir and Rodrigo Perez Mackenna, the Chilean Minister of Housing and Urban Development.
