Global Competitiveness Report, Haiti 143rd
Wednesday, the "Global Competitiveness Report 2013-2014" which assesses the competitiveness of 148 economies was published by the "World Economic Forum" (WEF). In this report, Haiti is ranked 143 out of 148, the last in the region after Venezuela (134th) and the Dominican Republic (105th). Last year Haiti was ranked 142nd out of 144 countries.

Peaceful demonstration of Fanmi Lavalas

DGI exceeds projected objectives

Delivery of 26 vehicles to the Government

Inauguration of a COU in Caillot
Friday will be inaugurated an Emergency Operations Center (EOC), a warehouse of relief and a fire station in the premises of the Emergency Operations Center Departmental in Caillot near the town of Port-de-Paix. These new structures were built by the Humanitarian Assistance Programme of the Southern Command of the Armed Forces of the United States in accordance with the U.S. Embassy, USAID, the National Emergency Operations Centre and the Ministry of Interior and Local Authorities.
