The Ministry of Tourism in mission to Turks and Caicos

As part of the promotion of Haiti as a destination in the Caribbean, a delegation of officials from the Ministry, headed by Ms. Dieudonne Luma Etienne, Northern Regional Director of the Ministry, is currently visiting the Turks and Caicos Islands from 17 to 20 October. During its stay, the delegation will meet with key individuals working in the tourism sector in Turks and Caicos, to decide on the strategy to take tourists from these islands to visit Haiti in general and the northern destination in particular, given the proximity between Haiti and Turks and Caicos.

Meeting of CFI at the Consulate of the Republic of China

On Friday, the National Coordinator of Satellite Office and the Director of Promotion, of Investment Facilitation Center (CFI), met at the Consulate of the Republic of China (Taiwan), the First Secretary Huang Shan-yi around bilateral cooperation Taiwan-Haiti.

Prime Minister visited the FAES

This week, Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, visited the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES), to assess the functioning of the strategic structure in the implementation of the national policy to fight against extreme poverty. During this visit, the Director General of the FAES presented to the Head of Government, the strategy of the Single Registry Beneficiary (RUB).

The Organization of Sean Penn will honor 20 teachers

Sunday at the University Quisqueya, J/P Haitian Relief Organization (J/P HRO), the humanitarian organization of actor Sean Penn, will honor 120 teachers, representing 22 schools in the community of Delmas 32, which just completed their first year of training on pedagogical practices for the improvement of national school results.
