41 Commissioners of Police graduated

Wednesday at the Police Academy, in the presence among others of : President Martelly, Me Jean Renel Sanon, the Minister of Justice and Godson Orélus the Directopr General of the National Police of Haiti, held the graduation ceremony of the first promotion of Police Commissioners, composed of 41 recipients.

First International Book Fair of Haiti

Josette Darguste, the Minister of Culture and Frantz Carly Jean-Michel, the Director General of the National Directorate of Books (DNL), have recently announced the holding from 12 to 15 December 2013 of the first international book fair of Haiti with the participation as honorary guests of anada, France, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Argentina and Venezuela. This event aims to achieve the three objectives of the Ministry, via the DNL, educate, entertain andgrow intellectually the Haitian, the youth, the future of Haiti.

Friday, October 25, the Haitian writer Georges Castera, will give a talk on the Haitian Creole literature, at the Institution Mixte Peniel, located in Tabarre.

Construction works of exhibition booths in Jacmel

As part of its policy of support to the creation, the Ministry of Culture is currently working on the preparation of 11 exhibition booths in Jacmel and a multipurpose room for artists and artisans of Southeast.
