Road interchanges, work is progressing

The construction projet of the Road Interchange storey in Delmas (Carrefour Airport) is at an advanced stage. These work to be finalized by October 2014 cost the Haitian government 17 million U.S. dollars. Furthermore, the engineer Jacques Rousseau, Minister of Public Works announced the start by the end of 2013, in the town of Carrefour, of a second road interchanges.

Shek Borkowski new coach of Grenadières

The Polish coach Shek Borkowski of FC Indiana (USA), is appointed head of the Haitian women's U-17 [replacing James Morisset] our Young Grenadières are currently preparing the final phase of qualifying for the FIFA World Cup, Costa Rica 2014, to be held in Jamaica from October 30 to November 9. For the occasion, they compete in Group A, their counterparts of Mexico (October 30), of the Jamaica, the host country (November 1, 2013), and El Salvador (November 3).

Important meeting with the IDB

Thursday, an important meeting was held at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, between Mr. Augustin Aguerre, Representative of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Mr. Gilles Damais, Chief of Operations of the IDB, assisted by Ms. Aurélie Gilles and Mr. Wilson Laleau, Minister of Economy and Finance and the members of his cabinet. This meeting was an opportunity for the IDB to discuss the programming of funds in financial support 2014, to renew its commitment to Haiti and to reiterate its interest in assisting the Haitian government in its projects to support the private sector, agricultural development, education, institutional development, transport infrastructure, and to the water and sanitation sector.

Awareness session on women's rights

On Friday, the Ministry for the Status and Rights of Women, in partnership with the School of Magistrates (EMA) conducted an awareness session for the Justices of the Peace of the Department of the West around international tools signed and ratified by Haiti, on women's rights.

Annual Conference of SHAMARH

On Thursday, the Haitian Society of Human Resources Management (SHAMARH) held at the Hotel Montana its annual conference on the theme "Corporate culture: a powerful engine of growth for the organization and the Intersection of talent management, human resources and technology." Recall that human resources are a priority for the team of the OMRH, making it the pillar of the reform of the state.
