Donations of equipment for municipal engineers
Réginald Delva, the Minister of Interior and Territorial Communities (MICT) and the Ambassador of France in Haiti, Patrick Nicoloso, proceeded to the delivery of twenty motorcycles and equipment (helmets, tool etc...) to the municipal Engineers of 10 departments of the country. Funded by the Embassy of France, via the "Priority Solidarity Fund", the purchase of these rolling stock is aimed at strengthening the Decentralized services of Local Authorities and is a support to the decentralization process initiated by the Haitian government through the MICT.

Training of electoral officials
The United Nations Programme for Development (UNDP), the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) and other partners, train electoral officials and organizations of the Haitian Civil Society in the field of democracy, governance and elections. Sessions organized around the "access to electoral processes" are designed to strengthening the professional capacity of Haitian institutions and ensure effective transfer of technical skills in the field of electoral administration, including gender equality and the participation of people with special needs.
