Students from FAMV, burn tires to Damien

Thursday in Damien, access routes to the Ministry of Agriculture, were blocked by students of the Faculty of Agronomy and of Veterinary Medicine (FAMV) who oppose the arrival of Jean-François Thomas as the new Minister of Agriculture and two new Secretaries of State at the head of the ministry: Fednel Monchery (Agrarian Reform) and Pierre André Gedon (Agricultural Recovery). The students also tried to block the National Road #1 with burning tires, but were prevented by police.

Friday at the First Council of Ministers, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, Evans Paul, the Minister of Communication,Rotchild François Jr., was appointed spokesman of the Government, by President Michel Martelly

How to bring Brazilian companies in Haiti ?

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in partnership with the Investment Facilitation Center (CFI) and the Association of Haitian Industries (ADIH) organized a workshop under the theme "How to bring Brazilian companies in Haiti ?" It was particularly question of the possibility of cross-cultural management and development strategies for the assembly sector between Brazil and Haiti. The workshop was led by Xavier S. Casademunt, Director of the School of Management and Administration (ESADE) of Brazil and Professor-Associated to the internationalization of the "ESADE Business School."
