Discussions around the PetroCaribe Program

This Friday, the Ministry of Planning, held a high-level meeting between the Government represented by Yves Germain Joseph, Minister of Planning and External Cooperation, Wilson Laleau, Minister of Economy and Finance and a delegation of the Venezuelan Government, led by Bernardo Alvarez, Secretary General of the Bolivarian Aternative for America (ALBA), around the Petrocaribe program.

The US Ambassador in favor of two elections ?

According to the Senator Francisco Delacruz, Pamela White, Ambassador of the United States to Port-au-Prince, would support the organization of two separate elections during this year.

Carnival in Petion-ville

Yvanka Jolicoeur Brutus, the Mayor of Petion-ville inform the public in general and carnivalers in particular, that unlike the previous two years, Petion-ville will have no official artistic show Sunday, 8 February 2015. Thursday at the Primature, the Prime Minister met: Duly Brutus, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Pieriche Olicier, Minister of Haitians Living Abroad and Ambassador of Haiti to the Dominican Republic, Fritz Cinéas to inquire on the mechanisms of operation and the advancement of the program of identification and documentation of Haitian immigrants (PIDIH). D-3 Carnival of Jacmel

Sunday 1 February 2015 took place on Avenue Barranquilla Jacmel a great show of color and artistic genius. Thousands of artists, artisans, disguised troops, walking bands, acrobats displayed their talents, costumes and masks for public enjoyment, but also for the verdict of a jury, which ensured the selection of groups participating in the parade of the National Carnival to be held on 8 February. Dithny Joan Raton, the new Minister of Culture, was present, in order to promote and support the realization of any cultural and artistic events in the country.
