NOTICE: single Uniform for Schools

The Ministry of Education informs that "The decree on the single uniform for students attending public schools has been adopted and signed the Council of Ministers. Specifications, designs and colors will be specified by circular of the Ministry."

Training on the use and maintenance of heavy equipment

62 operators and technicians from the National Center Equipment (CNE), are in the process of following a series of trainings on the use and maintenance of heavy equipment, led by experts from the "Caribbean Heavy Equipment Educational". These courses, which take place from March 18 to June 2, 2015, aim to contribute to capacity building of the Ministry of Public Works and the CNE to best use the equipment donated by the Japanese Government in March 2013 and eventually repair them. These courses are a continuation of the UN Programme of support for Development (UNDP) supports, to the institution building in Haiti.

Feces spread on the road...

Thursday, tons of feces were strewn on the National Road #2 from Vialet to Desruisseaux and Vialet to Morne Tapion of Petit-Goâve. Public transportation and commercial activities are totally paralyzed at the national road #2 because of foul odors that emerge from these feces. Change of attitude towards the tourism

Wednesday the actors of the awareness campaign and of public attitude change on tourism have held at the Ministry of Tourism, a presentation workshop and of discussion on the strategic and operational direction of the campaign. Supported by the Organization of American States (OAS), the campaign will be conducted shortly in priority tourist regions.
