iciHaiti - Security : Extension of Chilean troops in Haiti until 2016 20/05/2015 12:07:39
The Chilean presidential office noted that "the work of the military component, is intended to promote a secure and stable environment for stabilization and reconstruction tasks of Haiti, which is embodied as part of multinational effort involving the participation of our country [Chile], which received high levels of recognition." With this vote, it is allowed that Chilean troops and supports remain in Haiti and continue their participation in the UN stabilization mission. IH/ iciHaiti
