On this occasion, the Ministry of Environment and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) invited the youth of Haiti to act to protect the environment.

In his speech, the Head of State declared "The World Environment Day celebrated on June 5, challenges us on our shared responsibility to protect our ecosystem.
