iciHaiti - Politic : President Martelly met with Dominican Chancellor in Brussels
On the sidelines of the Summit of the European Union and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC-EU), which was held in Brussels (Belgium) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-14163-haiti-politic-president-martelly-at-2nd-eu-celac-summit-in-brussels.html President Michel Martelly held a bilateral meeting with Andrés Navarro, the Dominican Minister of Foreign Affairs, on the various issues of bilateral relations between the two countries.

At the meeting which took place in a cordial atmosphere, was discussed in particular the work done by the two countries within the Joint Bilateral Commission (CMB), the monitoring of the progress made in various agreements documents, among others on the safety, education, the management of shared basins.

The Chancellor Navarro took the opportunity to take stock of the National Plan of Regularization of Foreigners for people in irregular migratory situation whose registration ends on June 17 at 7:00 pm

The two men agreed on the need to maintain open dialogue, open and constructive, to further deepen the progress of negotiations and discussions on topics of mutual interest for the benefit of the populations of two Nations.
