iciHaiti - Tourism : Increase in number of tourists in Haiti

Tourist arrivals in the Caribbean region increased 7% in the first four months of 2015, according to the latest barometer of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), which also recorded an overall increase of 4%.
In Haiti specifically, the first half of 2015, we recorded total 255,388 visitors, 234,882 visitors in the Toussaint Louverture International Airport and 20,566 visitors to the Hugo Chavez International Airport in the north. Compared to 2014 we see a growth rate of 17.2%.
