Monday under the patronage of President Martelly, Wilson Laleau, the Minister of Economy and Finance, launched theonline payment program and the Single Treasury Account (CUT).

Both IT systems designed and developed by the Haitian firm Turbo System, will not only facilitate taxpayers to fulfill their duty, but also the State with the CUT, to to better manage its financial resources. Note that these programs meet safety norms of international Standard

The online payment program will operate through banks and will promote financial inclusion since all taxpayers will be able to be in good standing with the DGI online. This payment should also help broaden the tax base, because with this ease of access (without moving or waiting) the citizens will be more inclined to respect its deadline with the tax department.

As to the Single Treasury Account (CUT), a unified structure of the bank accounts of government operated by the Treasury, it will allow the Public Treasury to have comprehensive information in real time on the consolidated statement of cash flow, to reduce payment delays, to ensure transparency and traceability of all treasury operations.
