iciHaiti - Heritage : The Minister of Culture visit of sites in Jacmel
This weekend, Dithny Joan Raton, the Minister of Culture, visited of sites and projects in Jacmel including the site of Iron market and the ruins of the former prison which will be converted into the Architecture and Heritage Interpretation Centre (CIAP).
This tour was conducted with Ms. Tatiana Villegas-Zamora, UNESCO Representative. A meeting was also held with the local authorities and the private sector concerning the collect of objects, furniture and documents that will be exposed in the CIAP.
