iciHaiti - Volleyball : Death of Brigitte Desroches

Jimmy Albert, the Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action has learned with regret the death of Mrs Brigitte Desroches, which occurred Saturday, November 7, 2015, in New York, as the result of brain cancer.

"Brigitte Desroches was a glory of Women's National Team of Volleyball, in the 80s she has worked hard to promote the sport in Haiti and its radiation outside.

The Minister Albert, bows to the remains of this great athlete and takes this opportunity to present its sincere condolences to his son Christopher, to all members of the bereaved family, to the Haitian Federation of Volleyball and the sports world, in general."

The funeral of Brigitte Desroches will take place in New York, Saturday, November 14, 2015.

Let's recall that Brigitte Desroches former captain of the volleyball team of College Roger Anglade, was also a figurehead of the Haitian selection of volleyball who defended our bicolor in several international competitions.
