The Embassy of Haiti in Venezuela inaugurated a thematic wagon of Warairarepano cable car system as part of efforts to promote the history and culture of the Nation.

"Batalla de Vertières 1803 Haití por todo lo alto !" is the name given to the transport wagon, inside images and text describes the Battle of Vertière to users.

"Currently, Haiti is becoming a power in tourism in the Caribbean nations conglomerate. Without surprise to commemorate this important historical event for Haiti as the Battle of Vertières, we have chosen to be present in one of the most important tourist places of Venezuela, Warairarepano cable car system, a point of reference in tourist in Caracas and in the world," indicated the Embassy of Haiti in Venezuela, adding "We invite the people of Caracas and the Venezuelan people in general to visit the facilities of Warairarepano cable car and using this new wagon dedicated to Haiti."

The Haitian diplomatic mission in Caracas develops actions in tourism, which allowed the Venezuelan people to learn more about the people of Haiti its beautiful landscapes, its music and historical events. On the economic front, Haiti benefited from several regional integration projects such as Petrocaribe, an alliance between Caribbean countries and Venezuela, first Latin American exporter of crude oil, enabling them to buy oil to the latter on preferential terms of payment.
