Friday, January 8, 2016, the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Haitian National Brewery SA (BRANA) will proceed during a ceremony to the ntegration of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to SMASH program (Alliance for Smallholders Sorghum in Haiti).

Will participate in the the ceremony: a senior official of the US Embassy in Haiti, Jose Matthijsse the Director General of BRANA, Damais Gilles, the Chief of Operations of the IDB, Lyonel Vabrun, the Minister of Agriculture, Resources natural and Rural Development and Jude Hervé Day, Minister of Trade and Industry.

The ceremony will emphasize on the joint commitment of a bilateral donor, a multilateral lender, a multinational company and a local company to improve the Haitian value chain and consequently increase the income of farmers.
