iciHaiti - Diplomacy : Mexico congratulates Haiti
In a note, the Government of Mexico, through the Foreign Relations Secretariat (SRE), welcomes the political agreement signed on Saturday in Port au Prince, for institutional continuity after the end of the mandate of the President and that of the electoral process begun in 2015 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-16533-haiti-politic-the-details-of-the-agreement-from-a-to-z.html

Mexico recognizes the efforts and political will of the parties to the Agreement, the President Michel Martelly, the President of the Senate Jocelerme Privert, and President of the Chamber of Deputies, Cholzer Chanzy and their commitments to maintain stability in the country. It also acknowledges the support of the Organization of American States (OAS) and hopes that the electoral process initiated in 2015 will conclude successfully.

Mexico reiterates its call on all political actors to continue dialogue and cooperation for the development and welfare of the Haitian people.
