The Deputy of Petit-Goâve, Germain Fils Alexandre (VERITE), declared at the microphone of Radio Préférence "in the coming days, order and security will reign at the commune of Petit-Goâve," explaining that had made approaches to the central authorities and that "measures have been taken in this direction. The necessary resources will be made available to the local police. Justice must also play its part [...] We need peace, unity in Petit-Goâve. That wll bandits lay down their arms. That we all work together for the best."
He also announced the real operation of the port of the city "Boats will come soon in Petit-Goâve to create economic activities," adding that it must produce results and insecurity must end in the commune.
