iciHaiti - USA : Professional exchange visit with U.S. Coast Guard

From March 21 to 25, the U.S. Embassy through the Security Cooperation Office of Port-au-Prince hosted a professional exchange visit to U.S. Coast Guard units in the Gulf Coast from Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. The U.S. Coast Guard also hosted members of the Belize Coast Guard and the Haitian Coast Guard and members of Maritime and Navigation Service of Haiti (SEMANAH) during the exchange.
The goal of the visit is for Belize and Haiti to learn from the USCG (United States Coast Guard) and take back best practices to their respective countries for good use. Also, these professional exchanges will inspire Haiti Coast Guard officers and government officials to be better public servants, protecting Haiti's natural resources and serving their people.
