Tuesday, at Polyvalent training Center of the ranch of Croix-des-Bouquets, Jean René Antoine Nicolas, the new Minister of Social Affairs has proceeded to the installation of Abel Nazaire, as the new Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action. He replaces the outgoing Minister Jimmy Albert who held the post for 14 months.

In his remarks of circumstance after having thanked the President a.i. Jocelerme Privert and the Prime minister Enex Jean-Charles for having chosen him for this position, he recalled that he was not new in public administration recalling that for 30 years he worked in the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Ministry of the Interior, to the Civil Protection Department, at the Haitian Red Cross and to the cabinet of Prime Minister Lamothe with responsibility of technician and participated in many youth activities "[...] Youth is on the road of despair. Youth needs a guide. I promise to give the best of myself. We do not know everything, we do not have a magic wand in our hands, but we are ready to put our grain of salt [...] We have to work together with the Red Cross and Civil Protection Directorate to be closer to the young."

He promises to work to equip the Ministry of a budget to meet the needs of the youths hoping to get 1.5 to 3% of the next amending budget.

He concluded by saying "[...] I'm not there to make revocations, I ask all of you to have discipline and respect for each other to get the job done properly."
