iciHaiti - Health : More than 2,600 confirmed cases of ZIKA in 6 months

Daphnée Benoît Delsoin, Minister of Public Health and Population, revealed that for the period January to June 2016, over 2,600 cases of Zika fever had been diagnosed in hospital Centre of Haiti, information coming from the epidemiological Directorate of laboratory and research department.
She stressed that these figures are probably an underestimate, because the tests are not available in all health institutions, adding that of sites were installed to monitor the evolution of the virus.
