To obtain a Firearms License in Haiti, 5 steps are to consider :

1 - Produce a written request to the Director General of the National Police of Haiti;

Note: The letter must be submitted in two copies at the reception desk of letters of the Directorate General of the PNH, with attached two photos, a copy of the applicant's identity card and a copy of any other document (Patente, working letter...) certifying the professional or commercial activity of the person.

2 - Place an interview to the Office of Director General of the National Police of Haiti (DGPNH);

3 - With the letter of DGPNH go to the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ) to complete the other formalities required for obtaining a permit, such as fingerprints, ballistics, no criminal history etc...;

4 - Pay a tax to the Directorate General of Taxes (DGI) for the issuance of the liscense requested;

5 - If all steps have been completed successfully, go to the Service of carrying weapons (Service de Port d'Arme à Feu - SPAF) with all application documents for the printing of the Firearms License.
