Daly Valet, the Political Adviser of De facto President Privert and and Head of Electoral Affairs, formally denied the rumors that suggested a possible postponement of the election date was considered "[...] it is false and completely untrue. This is pure intoxication. The process advance as required by the electoral calendar [...] elections will be held on 9 October, as provided in the electoral calendar of the CEP. Unless a natural disaster, the date will be respected. Everything is in place for the regular holding of elections."

Moreover he stated that "the election security plan is almost ready. The Haitian funds to finance elections are also being disbursed. Therefore, nothing to fear, people must prepare to vote on time [...]"
