The delegations of the different high schools each received a lot of materials composed of balls for basketball, football and volleyball, which will be used for the preparation of the next school sports competitions.

In his speech, Minister Nazaire stressed the need to reconcile sport and studies with the aim of enabling young people to showcase their talents in different sporting disciplines. "The country needs not only well-trained young people but also good athletes. 'Mens sana in corpore sano' (a healthy mind in a healthy body)" before inviting high school directors to encourage the practice of sport in their institutions by referring to the champions that Haiti has had in various sporting disciplines.

The Minister took the opportunity to congratulate and present the trophy of champion to the young people of the College Immaculate Conception, winners of an inter-school basketball championship organized by the managers of the Gymnasium Vincent.
