Haiti - FLASH : The Bahamas repatriated 4,655 Haitians

The Bahamian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that approximately 6,300 immigrants who arrived illegally in the Bahamas, mainly from Haiti and Cuba, had been repatriated by the Government to their country of origin in 2016. They are 4,655 Haitians, 1,179 Cubans, 214 Jamaicans, 73 Chinese and 47 Dominicans, as well as a small number of people of other nationalities. SL/ iciHaiti
