The "training-of-trainers" phase for the Integrated Public Finance Management System (SIGFiP) has successfully concluded in the West Department. Launched as part of the Public Finance Management Strengthening Project (PReGeFIP), this intensive session established a solid core of operational focal points.

Over this period, five cohorts of participants were trained to master the system's operations and expenditure execution procedures (commitment, verification/liquidation, authorization, and payment), while adhering to the controls integrated into SIGFiP.

This now-operational core of trainers represents a vital link for the next stages of the process. They will be responsible for passing on their knowledge to future users and guiding administrative bodies in the West Department toward a secure and harmonized launch of the new system.

This training marks another step forward in the modernization of public finance management, driven by the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) and the Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation (MPCE) through PReGeFIP.
