iciHaiti - Education : High-level meeting in Buenos Aires

Eliccel Paul, the Chief of Staff of the Minister of National Education Jean Beauvois Dorsonne, represents Haiti at the Regional Meeting of Ministers of Education of the Latin American and Caribbean Countries, which will take place on January 24-25 in Buenos Aires (Argentina) around the theme "Education and Skills of the 21st Century". The opening ceremony was held at the Palacio San Martin, headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Argentina.
This High-Level Summit put at the center of exchanges the Global Education Goal (SDG 4 2015-2030), which aims to ensure universal access to quality education, on an equal footing, and to promote opportunities for lifelong learning; It is accompanied by seven targets and three implementation modalities.
Two key objectives are expected at this meeting: the adoption of a joint declaration by the Ministers of Education of the region on the strategy to move towards the achievement of SDG 4 and the elaboration of a roadmap for its implementation.
