iciHaiti - FLASH : Flooding in Les Cayes

Following persistent rain activities in Haiti and the saturation of soil observed in some parts of the country, the National Meteorological Center, together with the National Risk Management System, requires the exposed population to remain vigilant and to strictly follow the usual safety instructions in the event of floods and landslides.
In addition, on Saturday morning, a flooding at Les Cayes was reported. The Haitian Red Cross (CRH) emergency unit has been activated and a team from the Southern CRH and the Civil Protection Directorate (DPC) is on site to monitor and measure floods.
