iciHaiti - FLASH : 297 Haitians arrested in RD

Dominican officials of the Directorate General of Migration (DGM) arrested 297 Haitians in an irregular situation in Constanza (Province of La Vega - center) and Samaná Province in the east of Dominican Republic.

The arrests were carried out in the communities of Tireo, La Palma and El Río in Constanza, and the areas of Come Pan, La Ceiba, Barrio del Hospital, Portillo, La Granja, Caño Seco, Barrio de la Antena and La Barbacoa Las Terrenas, of Samaná.

The control operations were coordinated with the specialized tourist security unit CESTUR (Cuerpo Especializado de Seguridad Turística)

Our compatriots were led to the Migration service of Dajabón for identification and deportation in Haiti.
