iciHaiti - Japan : Official handing of 6 classrooms...
The official ceremony of delivery of the project "Construction and Equipment of the Institution Mixte Communautaire Jean Jacques Dessalines" was held at the communal section of Villard in the presence of among others Yoshiaki Hatta, Ambassador of Japan accredited to Haiti, Roseline Stinfort Sejour, Coordinator of the Association "Women Organized for the Development of Dessalines / Artibonite" (FODDA), Theline Cosméus, Deputy Director of Education Department of Artibonite, the Vice-Delegate of Dessalines, members of the community, teachers and pupils of the school.

Let's recall that this project totally financed by Japan to the tune of 84,968 US dollars has allowed FODDA to build a building of 6 classrooms equipped with school furniture and provided with a sanitary block for the benefit of the school "Institution Mixte Communautaire Jean Jacques Dessalines".

In his speech, the Japanese Ambassador to Haiti considered this achievement as proof of Japan's commitment to support education in Haiti. He took the opportunity to show the goodwill and solidarity of the Japanese people to the Haitian people for strengthening their resilience and sustainable development process.
