"Haiti can be proud to have strong fraternal relations with Guatemala. This presentation of the credentials of the new Ambassador Rudy Armando Coxaj Lopez is an eloquent testimony to the good relations between our two countries," eclared President Moïse, who also assured the new diplomat of his willingness to work together for the harmonious development of relations between Haiti and Guatemala. For his part, the new Ambassador, Rudy Armando Coxaj Lopez reiterated his country's commitment to accompany President Jovenel Moïse in his efforts to improve the living conditions of the Haitian people. Later in the day the new diplomat was laying a floral offering at the Haitian National Pantheon in tribute to the Fathers of the Fatherland. Then, welcomed by Michèle Frisch the General Director of the Museum of the Pantheon, the Ambassador of Guatemala made a guided tour of the exhibition halls to discover the rich history of Haiti.
