iciHaiti - PAP : Working session between Mayor Chevry and local elected officials

Thursday, Port-au-Prince Mayor Ralph Youri Chevry accompanied by his assistants Ms. Kettyna Bellabe and Bernard Joseph held a working meeting aimed at strengthening communication and collaboration between the elected representatives of the community and the municipal administration.

During this session, the local elected officials, who welcomed this initiative, presented their concerns which led to a reflection around an effective working framework with the Town Hall of Port-au-Prince.

Mayor Chevry reiterated his firm determination to work for a better harmonization with local elected officials for the well being of the population.

On the sidelines of this working session, it was agreed to optimize the Municipality's ability to work with the population; better control the territory of the Capital; collect rental taxes in a more significant way with the involvement of elected officials.
