iciHaiti - Culture : Fortnight of La Francophonie 2018 (Program)

Celebrated as every year in March, the new edition of the Fortnight of La Francophonie in Haiti will once again be an opportunity to promote the plurality of the Francophone space and the importance of its shared values : respect for the State of Law and human rights, promotion of gender equality, cultural and linguistic solidarity and diversity.

Partner of this major meeting of the Haitian cultural agenda, the mobilization of the French Embassy in Haiti and its network, is part of the commitment of France in Haiti for this new fortnight of the Francophonie. Cinema, music, theater or literature: dedicated events will take place throughout March at the French Institute in Haiti (IFH) and in the five Alliances Françaises (AF) to celebrate the vitality of a language that, far from being the property of France, belongs to all those who speak it in Haiti as elsewhere.
