iciHaiti - Environment : Mayor Chevry talks about waste management with the city of Montreal

As part of the Haiti-Canada Municipal Cooperation Program (PCM), the Mayor of Port-au-Prince, Ralph Youri Chevry, met with a delegation from the city of Montreal to discuss solid waste management in the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince and explore the possibilities of action as part of a possible extension of this Program.

The Montreal delegation consisted of Henri-Paul Normandin, Director of International Affairs for the City of Montreal, 3 Montreal experts and Montreal Representative Richard Lafrance.

This working session also aimed to define the best means of accompaniment of Port-au-Prince, in the sanitation questions in general.
